As the managing director of the international management consultancy TSE Consulting since 2005, Lars coordinates the provision of consulting services to a large group of international sports organisations as well as governmental organisations involved in bidding for and/or hosting major sports events, among others:

He holds an MSc in Economics from Odense University, Denmark and in 2003 he became Associate Professor (nc) in Sports Economics at Copenhagen Business School. He is also external lecturer in Sports Management and Sports Economics at various European universities, among others the University of Klagenfurt (AUT), International Business Academy of St.Petersburg (RUS) and CIES, Neuchâtel (SUI).

Lars is the editor and co-author of the book “The New Sports Organisation” (2009) and he has delivered articles to a wide range of international publications focusing on the topics related to the bidding and hosting of major sports events.

In addition to his work for TSE Consulting, Lars provides independent expert statements for the Regional Court (Cantonal Tribunal) in Lausanne in sports management and sport economics questions.
