Nicole Resch competed as a Junior Biathlete in East Germany/ Germany. After the wall came down, and as soon as she finished High School, she went to the US in order to learn more about another culture and language.
Back in Bavaria/ GER, she finished the Junior and the Senior Law Degree and then worked in Canada where she was involved in international civil law matters.
Nicole has always looked for a way to combine her passion for Biathlon and her professional expertise on an international sports level. Thus, she applied for the FIFA MA degree, which gives post graduate students from all over the world the opportunity to become professional sports administrators.
After being taught International Sports History (Leicester / UK), Sports Management (Milano/ ITA) and Sports Law (Neuchatel / SUI), she applied at IBU.
On the day of her graduation from the MA Course in 2007, she was hired by IBU. In 2008, she became IBU Secretary General. |
